The way people work with traumatic memories today is one of the most misunderstood and controversial issues in Trauma care. Many therapists do not understand that there are several memory systems in the brain and that Body. These systems range from the most conscious memories known as "normal" or declarative, to emotional and procedural memories that are deeply unconscious. These are things the body has learned to do. For example, the way we learned to Cycling, skiing or protecting our lives from threats and dangers to our health. Dangers, are all things the body knows how to do. It has trained for it and learned how to carry it out.
We must learn to treat each of these systems differently. Memory. That way, we can avoid creating "false memories" to ensure the optimal solution and integration of experience traumatic.
This workshop is open to students who have completed intermediate level at the time of the workshop.
